to revitalize the special and unique qaulities of the home’s history while adding space and creating privacy for a growing family.

result

a 4300 sqaure foot home with all the coziness and trademark details of ‘days gone by’. the large property was fully revived with new plantings and ever-blooming trees. the lower level featured large full scale built in book shelves in the living room with spectacular views overlooking the yard. the ‘farmhouse’ kitchen was complete with all new appliances, Italian tile and informal dining area with fireplace. off the kitchen was a small playroom and office. the master suite was a special feature on the main floor with private deck area access. the master bedroom featured a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, window seats, and private bath with skylight. outdoor jacuzzi was completely private and accessible from master bath for year long use.

the second floor has three fully refurbished bedrooms, with original moldings, doors, and windows and family bath. the sun-drenched hallway leading to the second floorwas opened up with two etched glass period windows.

the above ground lower level had a playroom with original fireplace and special spiral staircase access to main floor. also featured on this floor was a guest suite with private entrance, full bath and kitchen.
